Helping Hand Hammocks was created out of necessity when a foal’s life was uncertain, and every decision mattered.

Our journey began with our own filly, Matilda Jane. She needed support to stand, grow, and safely adjust to life, while her young momma was still learning how to be a mom herself. What she needed most wasn’t just physical support. Matilda Jane needed comfort, connection, and reassurance that only her mom could provide. But there was no solution that allowed both.

So we built one.

Helping Hand Hammocks are thoughtfully designed to support foals while keeping them safely close to their mothers, allowing them to see, feel, and stay connected during critical moments of development and training. Because healing, strength, and confidence come not just from support, but from staying together.

But what started with one foal didn’t stop there.
